Awareness programme on "The Process of registration under 2nd special revision of "Photo Electoral Rolls"

The Electoral Literacy Club of the GDC Pampore under the able guidance and leadership of worthy Principal Prof Saffiya Khalil organizes awareness programme on "The Process of registration under 2nd special revision of "Photo Electoral Rolls " today on 30th July 2024 in the old academic block. The aim of today's event was to educate and aware the  students about the process of registration process under2nd Special Summary Revision of photo-Electoral Rolls.The programme was commenced with brief introduction by the Coordinator of the Electoral Literacy Club Prof Arifat jan about the importance of registration. The key note address was presented by Worthy Principal of the college Prof Saffiya Khalil .In her key note address she deliberated upon the formation  ,origin of SVEEP  and its emergence and role. Worthy Principal of the college motivated the students to participate in the formation of government in the democratic process at all levels  whether local self ,state or national level governments. Prof Manzoor Ahmad member of the Electoral Literacy Club HOD (Economics) and speaker on the event discussed the importance of registration process  , and explained students how to register themselves on Photo  Electoral Rolls...A large number of students as well as faculty were present on today's event. Programme was moderated by Prof Arifat jan (HOD) Political Science. lastly  vote of thanks was presented by Mr Burhan student of 2nd semester.
