Govt. Degree College, Pampore was established in 2011 and is affiliated to University of Kashmir. Presently the college offers B. Sc, B. A., and B. Com following CBCS curriculum. In these past ten years the college has grown rapidly. Infrastructural expansion has taken place in terms of computer lab., smart classroom, browsing centre, adding one more floor to Library, automation, well equipped Gymnasium, Multi- Purpose Hall, Laboratory Block, Cafeteria and a cricket field.

Keeping in view their socio-economic needs, all the efforts would focus on providing a pertinent atmosphere to equip our youth to face the challenges of future. Focusing on the cherished goals, striving hard to accomplish them, avoiding mediocrity and procrastination, let us nurture deep rooted values and faith in God in our search for truth, knowledge and excellence.
