World Population Day was celebrated by Govt. Degree College, Pampore on 11th July, 2020.
This year the UNFPA’s goal on World Population Day 2020 is to raise awareness of women’s and girls’ needs for sexual and reproductive health and vulnerabilities during the pandemic.
The event witnessed extension lecture by Prof. (Dr.) Shamim Ahmad Shah & was virtually hosted by the college principal, Prof. (Dr.) Seema Naz on Zoom platform.
A quiz competition was also held on the same day for students.
